Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Turbo-Charges SAP Hiring ProcessOverviewHyundai Motor Company is Korea's largest automotive manufacturer. In 2005, the company began production of a $1 billion automotive assembly and manufacturing plant in Montgomery, Alabama. The facility was to be the company's first U.S. assembly and manufacturing plant, and North America’s first automotive assembly site exclusively running SAP software. ChallengeHyundai needed to find and recruit experienced SAP resources for its SAP project office within the new IT organization. Once found, these individuals would also need to be willing to relocate to Montgomery, Alabama. Hyundai engaged Savantis after efforts with local and national recruiting agencies had failed to yield enough qualified candidates. Result“Of the approximately 10 firms we’ve worked with, Savantis Group consistently provides the best-quality resumes. When I call a Savantis candidate for a phone interview, I am rarely disappointed. Almost all of Savantis’ phone candidates proceed to the next interview phase. I never see duplicate submissions from Savantis, which tells me they have access to untapped sources in the SAP market, and that they do the hard work of recruiting: identifying and developing qualified candidates. Savantis responds well to objections and to new requirements and adjusts their recruiting focus appropriately. I can always count on Savantis to perform that critical “go-between” role when we enter into the negotiation phase of the hiring process. Their representatives are extremely responsive and available throughout the day. I generally receive return phone calls or emails within an hour. All things considered, I am extremely pleased with the performance of Savantis and would heartily recommend them to any other company that is trying to fill experienced SAP positions.” Mike – Senior Manager, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing of Alabama |
